It can be so difficult to nail a person down. What they "do" seems to be the most popular way. So I am creating a space to show my projects, interests and creations. Enjoy folks!

nothing wasted nothing lost

boom zap.

pistol on cardboard
sometimes i see pieces of cardboard or a splash of paint on a forgotten tear of paper and i can't throw it away. the random spill can be a beautiful canvas to create on.

turn around vampire!
i went through a period of time when i had very little space to create so i just made smaller things.  i do believe a creative handicap can make a person a better artist, forcing one to do what is not their natural, creative habit.  so i wrote a few children's books and made some cool drawings that could stand on their own.  drawn on cardboard i used wallpaper, pen, water color and oil pastels.

Walls

i am a lover of textures.  these walls were at a russian fort from the 1800's on the northern coast of california. i want to recreate them in my home.

the little man of july

i have always had a fascination with stop motion and the world/reality that miniatures can bring the viewer into.  when i was in 7th grade a made a bunch of military diorama's only to have them crushed by my art teacher.  i never forgot how much i liked making them.  my freelance job is making test marketing spots for Mattel, dressing the sets and Directing the commercials.  i wanted to do something with those skills that was about more than selling something.  so, now i am making my own.

this little man is made of wire and clay.  i made his clothes, bed, pj's and the room is a replica of my studio.

now...for a story....
