It can be so difficult to nail a person down. What they "do" seems to be the most popular way. So I am creating a space to show my projects, interests and creations. Enjoy folks!

animal boom! (fox)

marker on paper. i think paul goble (my favorite children's book writer) inspired me to draw animals this way.  simple outline that gives you the idea of what it is.  just the signposts of a fox.  pointy ears, busy tail...

ibsen can't go home

i am experimenting with new materials.  now i am trying charcoal and pastels (thanks jaime).  i am always amazed how changing materials changes what comes out.  charcoal gives voice to something in me that metallic silver doesn't.  oil paints bring out something that photography doesn't.  perhaps they are all playing different instruments in the same song.
plus, i think autumn is a good time to start trying charcoal.

one for the weekend: bored in beauty #4

bored number 4
a continuation of a salute to those poor blank faced people who remind us not to use the flash.  i am talking about the polyester suited, museum security guards (of which i use to be one, terrible job).  surrounded by works of art that culminated from a lifetime of mastery and all you wanna do is go home.
